COACHING PATHWAY

Upon completing the necessary workshop provided by an NCCP Learning Facilitator, a coach can obtain a TRAINED status (for example, after taking the Competition Introduction workshop, a coach is Competition Introduction TRAINED).

In order to become a CERTIFIED coach in each pathway, coaches have to be evaluated by a NCCP Learning Facilitator following the completion of a workshop.

ALL coaching pathways require the completion of the Making Ethical Decisions (MED) online course, and therefore it is suggested coaches complete this on their own.

COVID-19 NOTE: Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there are currently no NCCP workshops being offered at the moment, however online and distance-based workshops are being put together.
More notice will be given as NCCP provides updates.

FAQ

Does my old certification get carried over to the new system?

etc.) to the new system. Check “The Locker” on coach.ca to confirm your certification.

Will Boxing BC be offering NCCP workshops in the near future?

Yes, Boxing BC is looking to offer NCCP workshops for coaching development, however this is dependent on NCCP safety protocols regarding COVID-19 and may be online-based.

coach.ca.

What if I've changed clubs?
